Marylin Mello

Education has always been an important part of my life and career goals, and being able to help others learn and explore music is something I’m incredibly passionate about. Lessons are a great way to build confidence and connection with music, to have a guided and individualized exploration of the instrument, and to develop the skills needed to create the sound and music you hear in your head. I have been teaching private viola and violin lessons for over 5 years, helping students of all ages and backgrounds become the musicians they aspire to be. My students perform as strong musicians in their respective ensembles and continue developing these skills in their lessons and practice at home. They’re not only strong musicians but passionate and enthusiastic about the world of music. I aim to teach my students to be curious, thoughtful, and methodical to help them get to a place where they can create the music they want with ease.
